<<-- I'm really debating buying this hoodie. I saw it on Facebook this morning, and I decided everything about it is perfect, from the girly skull, to the bow, the yarn and button eyes, and the crochet hook crossbones. It also reminded me that there's some truth to this hoodie hahaha. I haven't been crocheting much, again, : ( but I literally just picked up my hook and have decided to pop out a hat or two using some extra soft super bulky yarn. : ) Gotta burn off dat crazy. |
So, while I'm at it, here are the songs that I've been obsessively listening to. Well, three of them, at least!
This one is Gasoline by an artist named Halsey. I don't know much about her, but I know that this song is beautiful. It's kind of pop-ish, but it's just dark enough that I like it. I also find her voice to be really unique.
Also, apologies that it's a lyric video. VEVO apparently doesn't like their videos shared on blogs? So stupid...

And then there's Meg Myers. It wasn't until recently that I began to actually explore her music... And now I cannot stop listening. I love her. I honestly wasn't sure where to begin as far as picking a song of hers, so I picked two. Motel is her most recent release (only 5 days old!), and it's amazing. She said in an interview that it's about finding beauty even in difficult and dark situations. That's kind of awesome, and it's a sentiment I appreciate.
Adelaide. So good. I love that you can feel all this raw emotion coming from her when she sings. In fact, the only songs by her that I don't like are the ones that aren't quite so dramatic. She's definitely at her best when she's letting all that emotion out through her music.
Time to get hookin'. My next blog post will be crochet related, possibly a purse handle tutorial. I've got a couple ideas in the works, so stay tuned!
